Did you happen to catch Annie Hall at the outdoor movie last week? An awesome Woody Allen/Diane Keaton NYC flick. And the fashions!! I know it's still August, but around here we are getting excited for Fall. Blazers, boots, comfy sweaters, houndstooth capes, wool leggings, velvet...Makes you sweat just to think about it! (Especially when it's still 90 degrees.) We all felt very inspired by Annie's androgynous, yet unmistakeably feminine, unique style.
She is simultaneously hard and soft, pairing masculine pieces such as a vest and tie, with more delicate items like high-waisted linen pants and an oversized basket bag. It's like she took a stroll through her father's closet, but came out looking fantastic.
What would Annie Hall dress like today? Maybe if she was in her twenties and lived in Missoula? For that matter, how would Woody dress?
