Fantasy Fashion.

It is Betty's belief that a love of fashion and costuming and a love of science fiction and fantasy go hand in hand.

That's why HBO's Game of Thrones gives Betty a boner. There couldn't really be a better cast of strong, swoonable and beautifully dressed female characters than this!

Little Arya Stark and her quick mind and sharp sword. So tough and strong.
Khaleesi Daenerys Targaryen, dragon mother with dreamy hair and post-apocalyptic outfits. So tough and strong.

Lady Catelyn Stark with her flaming red locks and high-necked-but-uber-sexy-gowns...not to mention her fierce love for her family and her bad-ass sense of diplomacy. So tough and strong.
And the lovely Lady Sansa Stark, with her pocket full of braid techniques, trapped in an evil man's castle, biding her time till she can return to the North! So tough and strong.
Betty loves tough and strong women.

And Betty loves authors, particularly those that resemble greek fisherman...so for those big fans of Game of Thrones and the books it's based on...A Song of Ice and Fire, the author and creator, George R.R. Martin, is coming to Missoula this weekend...to MisCon 26 (MT's longest running sci-fi convention,) ...don your sweeping velvet gown and pack your Valarian steel sword and head on over to Ruby's Inn and take a turn sitting in the iron throne! It doesn't really get much better than that!
