Music Inspired Art and Music Tonight!

When looking at a close up of artist Kia Liszak's work, you may ask yourself: What is that, a delicious looking bean and rice soup?

No, it's actually a picture of Madonna. Here Liszak recreates Madonna's iconic album cover "True Blue" in beans and rice. Entitled "Rock, Yarn, and Beans," Kia Liszak presents in her show a series of classic album covers replicated in traditional kindergarten art forms without sparing any detail.
Jimmy Hendrix makes a cameo of course. Liszak perfectly captures Jimmy's expression in this awesome re-creation of the album cover for "Kiss The Sky," made out of beans and yarn.
How could this show be complete without paying homage to Bowie?
Where beans and insanity meet, this show promises to bring out the 80s teenager in all of us. Come down to Betty's tonight and grab some wine and a delicious treat from Bernice's Bakery, and check out Liszaks amazing tributes to iconic album art.

And definitely don't miss a performance by Missoula's own 64 Tuna at 5:30pm! Starring, Taro Sharp (bass), 7th grade, Ollie Barrow (guitar), 7th grade and Levi Barrow (drums) 4th grade. Inspired by Green Day, B-52's, and Bon Jovi (?)...they write almost all their own material and are hitting up Club Schmed to record this month. Small rockers who pack a serious punch and put on a great show. KID PUNK not PUNK KIDS!!
