I have an obsession with all things white, including white leather. I recently quenched that thirst momentarily with an awesome pair of white leather & feather earrings at the trade show we went to back in Feb. (You can find the whole line by the same designer in Betty's real soon.) As part of my quest I am always on the lookout for a pair of white cowboy boots.
All of my wildest dreams were fulfilled in the Jefferey Campbell booth at the Shoe Show in March!!! Lucky for me I am sample size and get to try on all sorts of crazy and amazing shoes. I slipped on this white boot and fell in love!
It didn't have a name yet as it was awaiting customer reaction to see if it would even be made. After my excitement they said that they needed to get it a name. Aimee said, "name it Lael!" There was bit of a racket, some picture taking and measurements, much blushing on my part, and walla-Lael was written in Sharpie on the bottom by Jeffrey Campbell himself! They are going to make a few adjustments, and then hopefully it will make the cut to go into production!
