As most of you know, we at Betty's can really get behind urban sports. Lael and I were joined by Missoula golf expert Hottly Eissenger, along with Leah and Scott from Selvedge Studio on a lovely Sunday evening to begin planning Missoula's first Urban Golf Day course.
Start looking for cheap drivers at thrift stores and garage sales, along with some steezy golf attire. As with kickball, it will most definitely involve 90% style and 10% competition. We found that the kind of club doesn't really make much of a difference, so any club will work.
The first tee time will be at 9AM on Sunday September 12th, in conjunction with Missoula's First Sunday Streets...Check this site for more details on that fun event: http://www.sundaystreetsmissoula.org/. You can participate until 2pm, when Higgins Ave. opens back up to car traffic.
