Join us tonight for an awesome First Friday with Lauren Monroe Jr., a local artist raised on the Blackfeet Reservation. His show entitled, "Something Dreamt or Found" is all acrylic paintings inspired by his upbringing and native heritage.
Growing up near the rez, Lauren had constant access to rich cultural art and later on, more contemporary styles and techniques. By blending styles and artistic expression, his art is often bold and borders along the realm of the surreal. Additional info can be found on his website.
