Strange Creatures...First Friday at Betty's!

Tonight's First Friday features the art of one Miss Caitlin Finley, a graduate of UM, and holder of a BFA in fine arts. Ms. Finley hails from Helena, MT and has lived on and off in Missoula for years. She wears many different hats, including but not limited to: ceramacist, barista, forest ranger, fashionista, photographer, chef, fine dining expert, taxidermist, sexy camper, print maker, florist, and gallery assistant...

Tonight, and for the entire month, Betty's will host a variety of Finley's exotic and strange creatures and their even stranger needs. Finley's work is so fabulous that I am reluctant to show too many photos of her show, so here is a sneak peek of a few of her mixed media pieces on display. Just a few teasers to pique your interest...

Finley's sculptures are a collision of the organic and the grotesque and an examination of the natural world's adaptation to man's pervasive existence..
