The late snow and chilly spring weather caused us to postpone our Summer photo shoot, and boy were we glad we did, for last Wednesday was the most beautiful day of the year!
Through the thick woods we marched, our sights set on the unusual wood structures built by an anonymous and talented artist.
We hauled our goods over to Greenough Park early that morn with our trusty photographers, Ben and Tom.
We erected a cabana for outfit changing purposes so we wouldn't come off as exhibitionists to the bike riders, dog walkers and kids at the Spanish language day camp...
Lael and I chose our favorite looks of the season and dressed the dapper Kyle and the lovely Mercedes.
This big fort was a fun one. An unsuspecting passerby may wonder if a dead body was lying within....
But then they would quickly realize that it was a finely dressed hipster having his picture taken.
It looked like we were having a nature-loving clothing swap in the park....
One of the highlights was finding this field of tall purple wildflowers right at the end for the grand finale of shots!
Many shoes were soiled...Kyle was stung by a wasp...Mercedes had to get in the cold creek...we had to chase the dappled light from log to tree and back again, but I think it will result in our best effort as of yet!
Now...here are three sneak preveiws of the official pics...you be the judge:
