Three Way.

This weekend while doing a little professional research in the current In Style Magazine, I came across an interview with Micheal Kors on the top 5 style suggestions he has for ladies. The first one stressed the importance of trying on clothing with a three way mirror for a true representation of how an outfits looks from all angles.

I realized just how right he is, and promptly set out to replace the mirrors in Betty's dressing rooms with three ways. I was imagining something like this:

But not as froofy and generic...something a bit more Betty...

However, this is what I found when I searched online for images of three way mirrors:

Wow! Not exactly what I was intending to find, but exciting anyways...this album cover sure is trying to communicate a lot of intriguing images, no? They just don't make them like they used to.

Two things then crossed my mind simultaneously:

1. A Missoula artist-carpenter shall build Betty's new three way mirrors! They will be fabulous! Why didn't I think of this first?

2. And somewhat unrelated...how often do we search for images of one thing and the unexpected pops up?

This then led to a little more professional research this morning with Lael and I and our trusty computer. For instance, when you google the image of me, Aimee McQuilkin, you expect something like this to pop up:

But the first image to come up was this one:

Apparently, the second dame from the left is also Aimee McQuilkin. Very interesting!

In the same vein, when you google an image of Lael Gabrian, you expect to see this mug:

However, this fine and talented gentleman pops right up!

We couldn't help ourselves...we googled Jordon Lybeck, Betty's sole Man employee, and you expect this young man to smile back at you, maybe even wink:

But this web-footed Man also is apparently referred to as Jordon Lybeck...

Oh...what fun!
