It made me realize that Guns N' Roses' dramatic musical interpretation not only captures the love and loss Axl Rose is capable of, and Slash's rippin' guitar solos, but it also showcases a few trends that are easy to wear and are on fire this Fall at Betty's.
To begin, Axl is a pro at accessorizing his whole look. He really knows how to sport the Man Jewelry with pizazz. Bracelets, rings, headbands....he's always so put-together in a metal-tastic sort of way!
Rings are REAL popular this Fall...especially big ones that look like overgrown cocktail baubles.
The double-ring is particularly special right now...meaning one large ring, with 2 plus fingers lodged in....it kind of has a brass knuckles effect, but is usually much friendlier.
Anyways...we're swimmin' in rings here...most starting at a mere $5, and most being really BIG!
Oh, Slash....a man after my own heart. He was always so mysterious, what with his hair constantly in his face. Who knows what he really looks like....Rather than remembering him for his beautiful eyes or full lips though, we remember Slash by his skinny jeans and cowboy boots. Really...those 80's hair metal bands really popularized the skinny jeans before any supermodel did.

We just got in this lovely distressed show pony Western boot from Jeffery Campbell. With it's subtle stitching, upturned toe, and easy-to-wear-sole... it's straight outta Lonesome Dove.
Here you see them with a pair of clean, dark skinny jeans from Lucky Brand. If you think you're not a skinny jean girl...think again this Fall! At least one pair is essential if you want to smoothly tuck your jeans into your boots! Denim leggings are also fun for this reason, and super comfortable!
Yum...leather pants. This is the first season of such garments at Betty's...and we gotta say we really love them! You can casually sport them like Tess is doing so here, with a tee shirt and a beanie, ala Bret Michaels....but imagine them dressed up, standing in place of your average black trousers or skinny jeans...with a pair of sexy cage heels and a blousy top! Maybe even a long black boyfriend blazer! Definitely Bell-of-the-ball material here! And warm!
Wish we had some for our male shoppers...maybe next year, guys.
Now we come to two essential Fall/Axl Rose items...the headband and the leather jacket.
A knit headband is a great alternative to a hat...keeps your ears warm, yet shows off your luscious locks. Fits under a bike helmet. Solves bad hair day issues.
And the leather jacket....like we said last week...everyone needs at least one of these in their coat closet! And if you must choose one style, go tough biker chic. It's the one we prefer. You can't get more epic than that...
I know Axl and Slash would prefer it too. Axl would wear it with a headband and Slash would wear it with no shirt underneath. Also...quite epic!
We again return to Slash and his magnificent sense of style. He really loved flannel shirts and tallish black hats....
